Welcome back to Week 3 of the bathroom renovation! It’s been slow progress over here. This week I’ve been mainly focusing on sourcing the products for the space. I’m just hoping that everything I ordered gets here sooner than later!
A big thank you to Speakman for partnering with me on this project. I’ve always dreamt of a bathroom with brass finishes. The Lura 8″ Widespread 2-Handle Faucet in Brass are stunning. I know they will pair perfectly with the vanity top I ordered from Home Depot. The Speakman Neo Multi-Function Shower Head is not only beautiful but also features spray adjusting Anystream technology that also has massage spray patterns. I love how sleek and modern the Glenwynn™ Skirted One Piece Toilet is.
The light fixture may look familiar and that’s because it’s the same light fixture that we had in our bathrooms at our last house. When we closed on our home the finish we had ordered was backordered so they installed these instead in the meantime and once it came back in they replaced them and told us we could keep it. It’s kind of nice to have a piece of our first house with us!
For the lovE of zellige
Last minute I decided I want to add tile backsplash behind the bathroom vanity. I’ve been obsessing over Zellige tile and I’m hoping to incorporate them in the space. My favorite thing about Zellige tile is that each tile is unique. Although they are having a moment right now, I feel like I won’t be tired of them long after the trend has pass. I decided to update the mood board to reflect what I’m leaning towards now.
Demo Day 1
Luckily, I did get to do a little bit of demo! I’ve come to realize that now with Luna projects are taking longer since Justin and I have to take turns watching her. I’m looking forward to the day she’s old enough to do projects with us!
