This past weekend my SIL threw me a baby sprinkle in honor of baby boy’s upcoming arrival. She also hosted my baby shower for Luna, which you can read about here! A baby sprinkle is a smaller more intimate version of a baby shower and is usually thrown for a second time mom.
I feel like with a baby boy there are so many fun themes you can go with. We decided on the cutest fishing theme and I think Justin was even more excited about it than I was. Justin loves to fish and is beyond thrilled to have a new fishing buddy!

For decorations we DIY as much as possible. We reused the wood arches that Justin and I made for Luna’s First Birthday Party and I painted them to match the invitation. I got the cork letters for “Baby Colt” from Joann’s and used removable felt mounting tape to attach them onto the wood board.
We also reused the kid’s clothing rack from the birthday party that we turned into a welcome sign holder. I got the 20 x 30 poster board printed again at Walgreens (they have coupons for these often!) and it matched perfectly with the invitations she ordered from Etsy.
The hanging streamers was a DIY she got from TikTok. It is made by cutting strips of tablecloth and tying it into a knot on a string.
The dessert bar was my favorite! These dirt cups are just as tasty as they are cute. Super simple to make: layer pudding and crushed Oreos and top it with gummy worms!
Everything turned out so beautiful and we are so blessed to have the amazing village that we do. Five more weeks until our family is complete!
