Last Sunday my sister-in-law hosted my baby shower in our home. We kept it small with around 25 people and everything turned out beautifully.
Dress was gifted from PinkBlush Maternity

The main decorations were two balloon arches that we put together the night before. If you have never put together a balloon arch before, my best advice is to make sure to clear out enough time. Balloon arches are very simple to make but extremely time consuming! However, they are a great way to make a big statement without breaking the bank. Also, make sure you invest in an electric air pump!
I picked up florals the morning of the baby shower from Trader’s Joe. They have the BEST deals on florals. I picked up multiple bunches of baby’s breath and assorted types of eucalyptus and had them all over the house. I bought the glass vase from the Dollar Tree and the tealight candle holders are a steal from IKEA for only $0.29ea!
I opted to not have any type of baby shower games. Instead we did ask guest to write notes on diapers for late night diaper changes. We did however do a diaper raffle. Also, I HIGHLY recommend requesting children books in lieu of greeting cards. I can’t wait to read all of the books to Luna when she gets here!
I am beyond grateful to everyone who attended and made this special day possible! We have 10 more weeks till baby girl gets here. XO – Thavy
